This place is blessed with a great location overlooking the Carquinez Strait – fitting since it places an emphasis on the water’s bounty, including whole Dungeness Crab, fish, mussels, oysters, calamari and crab cakes. There’s also certified Angus prime rib and Italian classics such as crab Alfredo and clams with black linguini. Weekend brunch lovers enjoy the Euro-style patio, and almost everyone partakes of their “Drink Like a Fish” cocktails. Why the “Dead Fish” name? When the owner used to ask his grandma what kind of fish she was preparing, she’d respond… “it’s a dead fish!”
