Larrupin’, a short drive north from Eureka in the seaside village of Trinidad, is “Perhaps the best restaurant in all of (far) Northern California” as described by an enthusiastic reviewer. It could well be true since it’s on every “Best of” list in the region. The food is upscale New American with organic, local produce and high-quality, mesquite-grilled meats, including fresh fish, beef, venison – and even tofu kabobs. The dining room is intimate, cozy and eclectic, and there’s also a summer dining patio. Good wine list.
