ROARING CAMP – REDWOOD FOREST STEAM TRAIN:

Daily 75-minute departures travel over elevated trestles through majestic redwood groves to Bear Mountain and back. Conductors narrate the history of Roaring Camp, the railroad and forest. These working pieces of history were originally used in the 1890s to haul giant tree logs out of the mountains. It’s a truly unique experience, plus, Roaring Camp has other train excursions, attractions and special events, as well.
